March 2026

WHAT IF EVERY KILOMETER YOU COVERED COULD CHANGE A LIFE?

Join us in an extraordinary challenge this March, as we attempt to cover 11,000km - the distance from Scotland to Zambia - one of the poorest countries in the world.

Whether you do 5km a day, go for a few spins on your bike, or take a walk with the dog, every kilometre will help us continue to bring people together in safe, structured team environments - spaces where confidence grows, skills develop, and futures are changed.

Why join us?

  • March 8th is the Women's International Day Football Tournament in Kalingalinga.

  • March 12th is Zambia Youth Day

  • Less than 2 in 3 adults are able to read and write in Zambia, and only 30% have completed secondary school.

  • Your help with this Challenge donations can provide school bursaries & scholarships that help people stay in education, and open doors into employment.

Check the right hand column to see the immediate impact that Stirling University Futsal Team made in 2025. Let's make a real difference across Scotland!

3 REASONS TO CHALLENGE YOURSELF

1.  Money raised by Stirling Futsal Club working together to collect the 11,000 kms in Aug '25 went directly towards supporting 5 Scholarships for members of the over 35's team in Zambia by Oct '25 who have graduated in February 2026 with job opportunities opening up.

2.  8 year old Kingsley Brown inspired us all to use our talents to help others less forturnate. He continuously dribbled his football for 5.6 miles to raise money for AOTB.  When Kingsley’s teacher asked him why, he told her “because before I did this fundraising, I couldn’t talk about the children and adults in Africa without crying because I hate knowing of the poverty, it makes me sad, so now I’m helping to end poverty, I can now actually talk about it and it involves football which are my two passions, football and ending poverty!”

3.  AOTB Fundraising that provided a school bursary and coaching support took Faith Kaunda from Kalingalinga aged 8 to the World Football stage aged 15 playing for Zambia U20s.
