Munich walks 26km and raises £3,000 for Zambia
A merry collection of friends and new supporters were united by the challenge to walk a 26km loop around the beautiful Bavarian lake of Walchensee, and champion the cause of AOTB to raise £3,000.
What an amazing day against the odds with bad weather planned and many drop outs, so when the sun literally shone only for that day - and only just at Walchensee, it was all worthwhile. It was a great mixed gang of kind souls from Munich area, who took time to make this effort to walk, but also to work hard to get the support of others for this great cause. Everyone felt united in the joy of the achievement and of making a real impact by “changing lives” in Zambia.
