Funds Raised in SEPTEMBER in Scotland support the new pitch drainage in time for the OCTOBER rains

The £3,500 raised from the Kiltwalk in September went directly to Kalingalinga to support the desperately needed drainage project at our football pitch In Kalingalinga. The drainage project not only improve water management and reduces the risk of flooding, but ensured that the pitch itself is properly marked out and has ensured the "road" taken by trucks is moved away fro the AOTB play area.

This is the first stage of looking to increase funding via our collaboration with Village Athlete for a full artificial pitch, along with the building of a Community Education Clubhouse to provide the community with a true Home to run the great AOTB football and outreach programmes in the heart of Kalingalinga.
